Berkay joined Centerdata in early 2024 as a research assistant in the Policy Research & Analysis Department. In this position, he contributes to various projects.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Radboud University, where he gained knowledge and experience in statistics and experimental research, Berkay continued his studies with a two-year Research Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. He specialized in Perception, Action, and Decision-making.
During this master’s program, Berkay fulfilled the role of intern-researcher at Wageningen Food & Biobased Research in his final year. As part of this internship, Berkay wrote his thesis, in which he investigated the relationships between different stress measurement techniques and executive functions in soldiers in training who experienced high stress levels during a field exercise.
Thanks to this practical experience, Berkay not only learned how to analyze various data sources, but also how to communicate his findings in a clear manner.
