Berkay started at Centerdata in 2024 as an assistant researcher. Since 2026, he has been working as a researcher in the Policy Research & Analytics team. In this role, he contributes to various projects within the social domain. He carries out a range of tasks, including performing analyses, writing reports, and building dashboards. Recently, in line with his new position, he has also taken on the role of project leader.
Prior to working at Centerdata, Berkay completed a Research Master in Cognitive Neuroscience. During the final year of this program, he worked as a research intern at Wageningen Food & Biobased Research. As part of this internship, he wrote his thesis, in which he investigated the relationships between different stress measurement techniques and executive functions in military trainees experiencing high stress levels during a field exercise.
