About Mara Verheijen
Mara works as a survey researcher and project manager on a wide range of research projects for universities and ministries. With an academic background in both quantitative and qualitative methods, she advises clients on survey research within and beyond the LISS panel. Her work includes programming questionnaires, preparing datasets, and writing reports that clearly present research findings. In addition, she conducts interviews with various target groups and facilitates focus groups to provide deeper insights into the results.
Mara studied Psychology at Tilburg University and subsequently completed the Research Master in Social and Behavioral Sciences. After graduating, she worked at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, where she conducted research on socioeconomic inequalities in (early) child development. She has been working at Centerdata since 2020.
